Biography
Chris is an Entrepreneur In Residence at DCVC Bio. Prior to joining DCVC, he was Managing Director at Golden Pine Ventures, a seed venture capital firm which he co-founded in 2004. While at Golden Pine, Chris launched 7 start-up biotechnology ventures from major universities in the eastern United States. Before Golden Pine, Chris was Director of Corporate Alliances at Paradigm Genetics, where he led business development efforts for both the healthcare and agriculture businesses, closing multiple revenue-generating collaborations during his tenure.
Earlier, Chris worked as Licensing Associate for Purdue University where he managed the out-licensing of Purdue’s biotechnology and life sciences portfolio. Over the course of his career, he has led negotiations for more than 100 fully-executed deals. Chris received his MBA from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota, and his B.A. in Chemistry with Biochemistry emphasis from the University of Utah.
