Clara is responsible for the financial operations of the DCVC Bio funds and DCVC Climate fund, the two management companies, and the firm’s General Partner & Equity Partner program.
She began her accounting career with PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2005 and later joined KPMG and BDO, where she helped clients in the venture capital/private equity space with tax compliance and consulting matters. In 2016, after 12 years working in public accounting, she joined Bay City Capital, where she oversaw fund accounting and the financial operation of the management company. Prior to entering the finance and accounting profession, Clara worked for multiple technology companies including LSI Logic, Nortel Networks, and TDK Corporation, where she managed production planning, sale operations, logistics, and OEM prototype projects. Clara received a bachelor’s degree in English language and literature from Hong Kong Baptist University and a master’s degree in taxation from Golden Gate University.
