Karen is responsible for developing and implementing the company’s events strategy and overseeing all aspects of internal and external events. These include networking events to bring together founders, investors, and other stakeholders in the start-up ecosystem, and webinars and roundtable discussions where founders can catch up on the latest thought leadership and industry trends, as well as gain insights and practical advice on various topics such as fundraising, marketing, and scaling their businesses.
Prior to joining DCVC, Karen managed events for several top financial institutions, including Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank, Citi, and Australia & New Zealand Banking Group, where she successfully planned and executed events across 20 countries. Karen holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Texas at Austin and a master’s degree in program and project management from the University of Warwick.
