Before DCVC, Flo was Vice President of People at NerdWallet, where she built the recruiting, HR, and workplace operations teams. Her focus on talent and the employee experience played a key role in helping NerdWallet to grow from 40 to over 500 employees and win numerous awards. Earlier, Flo was an Operating Partner at Khosla Ventures and led recruiting strategy at Zynga as it grew from 40 to 3,500 employees. Flo is a Bay Area native who received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
