The San Francisco Compute Company
Building a marketplace to buy and sell short-term contracts on compute/GPU hours
Appurify built a system that helped developers of iOS and Android software test their native and Web apps on mobile devices running different operating system versions, under changing network conditions. Users could see how their apps performed on 3G versus 4G networks, for example, or on AT&T’s network versus Verizon’s. Google acquired Appurify in 2014 and its tools are now part of the company’s Firebase Test Lab.
