Building a marketplace to buy and sell short-term contracts on compute/GPU hours
Operators of large-scale, cloud-native workloads, which are typically designed as a collection of different microservices, need ways to manage and balance how these services talk to one another. Buoyant CEO William Morgan and CTO Oliver Gould are the creators of Linkerd, the first service mesh for the open-source Kubernetes cloud automation system. After open-sourcing Linkerd, they went on to build the BuoyantCloud, which automates the Linkerd control plane and helps software engineers and platform managers make their microservices-based architectures more observable, reliable, and secure.
