A carbon-neutral way to produce green jet fuel and plastic

Even in a future net-zero-carbon world, hydrocarbons will be needed for certain applications, such as long-distance jet flight. Twelve has built efficient electrolysis technology that takes in carbon dioxide from point industrial sources, humidifies it, and breaks it down into carbon monoxide and hydrogen — the components of syngas, a feedstock for green fuels, plastic, and other products currently made from fossil carbon.
