Today’s leading large language models — which are optimized around text conver­sa­tions with humans — are a mismatch for the coming agentic era of computing, when most AIs will likely interact with other AIs and web services directly. TypeSafe is preparing for that era by designing natively composable AI systems, built to mixed and matched by other software. By under­standing and respecting well-defined software types, these systems will be able to consis­tently choose what to do and when to do it.
